Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that provides light weight and excellent maneuverability. Its one-hand fold is compact, which means it's lightweight and is freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines into a nearly flat position, and there is a large canopy and storage bin. Newborn suitability: Yes it comes with a carrycot (not suitable for sleep over).
A good suspension and air-filled tires can help you navigate through rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging but you should wait until your baby is six or nine months old to do this.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a brilliant option for parents looking for lightweight strollers with added features. This travel system includes a carrycot that is flat for babies and a dual-position forward and rear facing seat for a pushchair.
The XL Air is a really impressive buggy, and it's easy to see why it has been awarded so many praises from its customers. It's extremely light-weight - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg. It's also very easy to assemble. I was able to get it up and running in under five minutes. That's amazing considering that it included attaching fabric for the carrycot.
It has a nice, wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is very easy to operate. There's plenty of space in the basket too, and I love the fact that it comes with a zip-up pocket in the handle bar so you can keep your keys and phone safe!
The handlebar is low, which can be an issue for parents who are taller. It's covered in soft, supple leather-like material that is easy to clean.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for active parents who are eager to go outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on field and forest trails and the front wheel can be swivelled and locked to give you more flexibility. It also comes with a cushioned 5-point safety harness as well as a front bar to ensure your child is secure on all journeys, while the parking brake is able to stop the stroller from moving when you rest. The comfy seat is easy to recline to a lying position and the canopy opens up netting for optimum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate mum or dad's heights.
The Runner will accompany you on any adventure whether it's a leisurely run, a more strenuous hike or a long distance trek. It comes with a lay-flat seat and suspension air wheels that provide a smooth ride. The front wheel can be locked for more stability on narrow streets or overcrowded sidewalks. The stroller can also be folded up to fit in car boot spaces or storage spaces.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also, the locking system (requiring two buttons either on either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebars are higher than the ones of other competitors, which means they may not be suitable for taller parents. However the stroller is durable and a lot of fun, and is worth considering by families with active children.
Red Kite Push Me Pace
The Pace is a different great product from Red Kite, an affordable British brand that is known for its well-designed and no-fuss parenting essentials. It's the most recent - and priciest - product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller collection. It's also as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable so you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace has some amazing design touches such as the rose gold hue to the chassis, hood and stroller trims, which truly distinguish it from its competition. The grey, tan and cream fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are stylish and there is the option of adding the handle for the cover and bumper bar too.
The stroller seat can be used from birth until a maximum weight of 22kg. It converts easily to a two-in-one reversible position, either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat offers multiple lie back positions, softly padded leg rests and an extendable sun canopy with hidden zip sections, a transparent flaps, and a retractable sun visor section.
When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 x 43cm x 32cm, which makes it suitable for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also simple to fold down, using two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side that just need to be pressed in and then pop out.

Bugaboo Fox 5
The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain stroller, Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis has a shorter wheel distance which makes it easier to maneuver than its predecessor. I tested it with my two children - a toddler and an eight-week-old - on the rocky roads, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.
The large puncture-proof wheels, which measure 22cm or 30cm in diameter they can be used on different terrains. The wheels come with flaps that can be shut or opened to let more air in when needed. It's a bit bigger than some pushchairs, but it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when pushing over bumpy surfaces.
The fabric of the seat is machine washable, as are the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It's also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt comfortable using it in busy city streets. A bonus feature is that it has integrated accessory points. This means you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. The hood can be used to block rain and wind, however it's not waterproof. The single pram can be outfitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included), which gives your child more legroom. The bassinet took 20 minutes to put together and a similar time to convert it into a seat.

The Ridge's reversible seat allows you to choose if your child is facing you or the world ahead. Its simple foot brake system makes it easy for new parents. A fantastic feature is the reversible handlebar that allows you to adjust it to your height and preferences. The Ridge's fold, unlike many strollers for jogging, is sturdy and self-standing when folded.
iCandy Core
The new iCandy pushchair is packed with features that will really impress parents. It comes with a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a pioneering LED Visibility Hub Light, which is an innovation for the industry. It has an integrated Ride-on Board that saves on future costs and lets tired toddlers accompany their parents on outings.
The Core can be purchased as a single or as an entire travel system. it works with most popular car seats from brands like Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Joie.
